FastCopy Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FastCopy, a product operated by Ustadex ("Ustadex", "we", "our", or "us") under the Ustadam umbrella, including the FastCopy student mobile app and the FastCopy shop application (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Introduction and Acceptance

By creating an account, uploading a document, placing a print order, topping up your wallet, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to both student users and print shop owners/staff who use the Service, except where a section specifically states otherwise.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use FastCopy. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the Service, and they must agree to these Terms on your behalf where required by law. Print shop accounts must be operated by an individual authorized to act on behalf of the shop.

3. The Service

FastCopy connects students with participating print shops so that documents can be uploaded, sent to a chosen shop, printed, and collected. Ustadex operates the technology platform (the app, wallet, ledger, and order routing); the actual printing is carried out by the independent print shop you select, not by Ustadex directly.

4. Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating a student or shop account, and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Shop accounts may have multiple staff users with different roles and access levels, as configured by the shop.
• You must notify us promptly at cmo@ustadam.org if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

5. Wallet, Payments & Ledger

• Students top up their FastCopy wallet via mobile wallet (e.g. JazzCash/EasyPaisa) or bank transfer. Print order payments are deducted from your wallet balance.
• All payments are processed online; FastCopy does not accept cash on delivery, as no physical goods are shipped by Ustadex.
• Shop earnings are credited to the shop's ledger balance as orders are completed, and are paid out to the shop's registered bank account according to Ustadex's payout schedule.
• Ustadex is not responsible for delays or errors caused by third-party payment processors, mobile wallet providers, or banks.
• Wallet balances, once credited, are intended for use within the Service; refunds of wallet balances are handled according to our Refund Policy (where published), or otherwise at our reasonable discretion.

6. Document Upload & Printing

• You are solely responsible for the content of any document you upload, and you confirm that you have the right to upload, print, and share that content.
• You must not upload documents that are illegal, infringe on any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights, or that you do not have permission to reproduce.
• Uploaded documents are automatically deleted from our systems within 24–48 hours after the print job is completed, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Ustadex is not responsible for print quality issues caused by the file format, resolution, or condition of the document you upload.

7. Print Shop Responsibilities

Print shops using FastCopy agree to:

• Fulfill accepted orders accurately and within the timeframe communicated to the student
• Keep their shop information, pricing, and availability up to date on the platform
• Handle uploaded documents solely for the purpose of fulfilling the order, and not retain, share, or use them for any other purpose
• Comply with all applicable laws in the operation of their print shop business

Ustadex is a technology platform connecting students and shops; the print shop, not Ustadex, is responsible for the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the actual printing service.

8. Fees & Refunds

• Applicable fees for print orders are shown in the app before you confirm an order.
• Refunds for failed, incorrect, or undelivered print orders are handled according to our Refund Policy where one is published for FastCopy; until then, please contact us at cmo@ustadam.org and we will review requests on a case-by-case basis.
• Ustadex reserves the right to reverse or adjust wallet or ledger entries found to be the result of error or fraud.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to upload unlawful content
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, its systems, or other users' accounts
• Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or extract the source code of the FastCopy app or shop application
• Use the Service to circumvent or manipulate wallet, ledger, or payout mechanisms
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any shop or institution

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

The FastCopy app, shop application, and all associated branding, software, and content (excluding documents you upload and shop-provided information) are owned by Ustadex or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Ustadex makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the Service, or the quality of printing services provided by independent print shops. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ustadex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of documents beyond the retention window described in our Privacy Policy, or issues arising from a print shop's fulfillment of your order. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount of fees you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us at cmo@ustadam.org, subject to the retention of records required for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, including new features (such as an upcoming loyalty points program). We will post the updated Terms within the Service or on our website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Where a change is significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you directly.
